Spring Clean 2013

Sunday 14th April 2pm-4.30pm

Neat and tidy

The event that brings the community together for our traditional clean up. Everyone is welcome to give the park a make-over so it is ship shape ready for the summer ahead.

Children who want to smarten the playground, tennis players who want pristine courts, cafĂ© visitors who like pretty surroundings, dog walkers who who believe cleaniliness is the next best thing to their best friend and footballers who don’t want litter on their pitch – all can come along a get stuck in.

Just 10 minutes of your help will be welcomed. But, as in previous years, it can get addictive and volunteers of all ages have stayed for an hour, two hours or more. In the end, the community gets a park which looks like it has been utterly hoovered. What a great way to see in the Spring.
